Dialogue between the visionnaries of Medjugorje and the Virgin Mary
Jakov and Mirjana (27 June 1981)
- “Leave us a sign because the people treat us as liars,” said Jakov and Mirjana.
- “My angels, do not be afraid of injustice. It has always existed,” said the Virgin Mary.
The visionnaries (6 May 1982)
- “May we write on a piece of paper the date of the great sign, describe it, seal it, and put it in the archives?” asked the visionnaries.
- “No! You will unveil it when I will tell you. Many persons will not believe you, I know, and you will suffer very much for it. But you will endure everything, and you will finally be the happiest,” answered the Virgin Mary.
Messages to Ivan
(To Ivan in the seminary) “The sign will appear at the end of the apparitions.” (4 September 1981)
(Ivan is on the hill of Bijakovici with his friends) “Now, I am going to give you a sign in order to strengthen your faith.” (They see two rays of light, one on the church, the other on the Cross at Krizevac, end of August 1982.)
Messages to visionnaries
(After many people saw the cross on Mt. Krizevac transform itself into a light, and then into a silhouette of Our Lady.) “All of these signs are designed to strengthen your faith until I leave you the visible and permanent sign.” (22 October 1981)
“Praise be Jesus. Do not ask me any more questions on the subject of the sign. Do not be afraid, it will surely appear. I carry out my promises. As far as you are concerned, pray, persevere in prayer.” (26 October 1981)
“The great sign is granted. It will appear independently of the conversion of the people.” (31 August 1982)
“Hasten your conversion. Do not await the sign announced, for those who do not believe. It will be too late. You who believe, be converted and deepen your faith.” (Spring 1983)
“The sign will come, you must not worry about it. The only thing that I would want to tell you is to be converted. Make that known to all my children as quickly as possible. No pain, no suffering is too great to me in order to save you.” (24 June 1983)
